CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Charleston Wine + Food has canceled the Culinary Village for Saturday because of severe weather in the area.
In a statement posted to Instagram, the group said “This morning, (they) have made the difficult decision to cancel festivities,” citing concerns for the safety, well-being and enjoyment of both participants and patrons alike.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding,” the post said. “Thank you for your understanding and support.”
The festival is offering ticket exchanges for those who hold tickets for Saturday. Requests to switch to Sunday can be submitted through this link. They will be accommodating as many requests as possible until they reach capacity.
Additionally, they are offering the opportunity to exchange a for an available ticket for a different event or to defer Saturday Culinary Village tickets to next year’s festival. Those requests should be submitted by emailing [email protected].
