Cultivate Food and Coffee is opening in 2024.

Hen Mother Cookhouse is replacing Restaurant Holmes in the historic Jones House next spring at Alpharetta City Center.

The Standard bar and grill, based in Roswell, is now open at Alpharetta City Center, taking over the former Carson Kitchen space.

Atlanta

Sunshine Alchemy, a vegetarian and vegan food truck turned cafe, is opening on Presidential Parkway as part of the growing collection of Prep Atlanta incubator restaurants.

Atlanta University Center

Rosie’s Coffee Cafe opens its fourth Atlanta location on Student Movement Boulevard, according to What Now Atlanta.

Armour Yards

Painted Pickle, a bar and restaurant focused on the game of pickleball, will open this year. A second location could also open near the Perimeter.

Avondale Estates

Galette ATL pastry shop and bakery opens at the Tudor Village in 2024.

Battery Atlanta

Nourish + Bloom Market, a grocery store using artificial intelligence and delivery robots owned by Jamie and Jilea Hemmings, could open along the Beltline.

Berkeley Park

Kyuramen Japanese and ramen restaurant is opening at District at Howell Mill shopping center, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Boulevard Heights

Finca to Filter coffee and frozen dessert bar and wine bar Side Saddle Wine Saloon opens this year in Boulevard Heights on the Southside Beltline trail.

Brookhaven

Egg Harbor Cafe is opening a location at the Porter on Peachtree Road, a press release indicates.

Parkside on Dresden will feature several new restaurants opening in 2024, including Confab Kitchen and Bar from one of the partners in Kaleidoscope Bistro, Honeysuckle Gelato, Café Vendôme, Clean Juice, and a second location of Midtown Mexican restaurant El Valle.

Buckhead

Aviva by Kameel will open a location in Buckhead in 2024.

Bloom Bar is taking over the former Annie’s Thai Castle space on Roswell Road, What Now Atlanta reports.

Cultivate Food and Coffee has opened a stall open at Citizens Market Food Hall.

Delbar Middle Eastern is opening in the former King and Duke space on Peachtree.

Little Rey chicken al carbon restaurant, owned by Ford Fry, opens in spring 2024 in a new portion of the Northcreek Office Park complex on Northside Parkway.

Lucy’s Market is opening a second, smaller location at Corso Atlanta on Howell Mill Road near West Paces and Northside Drive.

Rreal Tacos is taking over the former Farm Burger space at Tower Place on Piedmont Road in spring 2024.

Scofflaw Brewing Co. opens in 2024 at the Oxton entertainment district, part of a renovation currently underway at the Piedmont Center office park.

The Daily, the Charleston-based coffee shop and cafe owned by Michael and Melody Shemtov, is now open in a new portion of the Northcreek Office Park complex on Northside Parkway.

Toast Noir Cafe, backed by Toast on Lenox chef Virgil Harper, is opening in the former Garnet Gal’s Coffee Shop and Bakery space on Lenox Road.

Capitol View

A Mano is opening on Sylvan Road in the next year.

Black Coffee ATL is relocating from Castleberry Hill to the Vivian, What Now Atlanta reports, and should reopen in late October.

Castleberry Hill

The N Zone, a restaurant from NFL quarterback and restaurateur Cam Newton, is moving into the former Elliott Street Deli and Pub space, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Liz and Leon’s and Sweet Gigi’s bar, owned by chef Bella Jones, are projected to open this fall.

Chamblee

Block and Drum, an eco-friendly entertainment district featuring container restaurants, a micro-distillery and tasting room, listening bar, cafe, and hydroponic farm, is opening in Chamblee. The cafe at Block and Drum is expected to open soon serving coffee and espresso drinks and a limited breakfast and brunch menu, with the entire complex fully operational by May 2024.

Chamblee Tap and Market opens in historic downtown Chamblee, featuring a taproom with 20 taps serving beer and wine, four food stalls, and a coffee shop.

The Bronx Bagel Buggy, a bagel and bialy pop-up and farmers market staple owned by Steven Novotny and Julie Dragich, is now open at the City Center complex on Peachtree Road.

Chastain Park

Pendolino, the first restaurant from Kevin Maxey’s new hospitality group, opens Monday, March 18 at 4600 Roswell Road.

Clarkston

D.B.A. Tacos and BBQ, from the owner of D.B.A. Barbecue, opens in a former home Taco Bell and KFC and will serve smoked meat tacos and feature a drive-thru.

College Park

Moonlight Pizza is opening on Old National Highway.

Conyers

The Breakfast Boys is opening in the former Tin Plate space on Commercial Street.

Cumming

Rock ‘N’ Taco opens at the Cumming City Center mixed-use development.

Decatur

Fawn, a wine and amaro bar and restaurant from James Beard award-winning chef Terry Koval, is opening in the former Sweet Seed Salad space near Decatur Square in 2024.

Hell Yeah Gluten Free bakery is now open beside Inner Voice Brewing in a former Christian Science Reading Room.

Mothers Best fried chicken restaurant is now open in Decatur, taking over the Calle Latina space on Church Street and serving buckets of fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, and frozen cocktails.

Muchacho taco and coffee bar is opening a second location behind Leon’s Full Service.

Tonearm, a record store, listening room, and bar is opening in the former Cuddlefish space on Church Street.

Doraville

Minhwa Spirits, Ganji, and Postern Coffee are opening a jumak, a traditional Korean tavern, later this year.

Downtown

Amalfi Cucina and Mercato is replacing Saito Sushi, Steak, and Cocktails at the former Regenstein’s department store building.

Betty Sue’s breakfast and brunch restaurant is opening near Five Points MARTA station.

Butter and Scotch, owned by Che Butter Jonez owners Malik Rhasaan and Detric Fox-Quinlan, is opening this winter at 110 Mitchell at the Origin Atlanta hotel.

Signia Hotel by Hilton, rising on a portion of the former Georgia Dome property beside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, is now open with five restaurants and one bar.

Flavor Rich, a Southern food truck and restaurant, opens soon at the Byron on Peachtree, What Now Atlanta reports.

Mochinut mochi doughnut shop is opening at the Reflection apartment tower on John Wesley Dobbs.

Skol Brewing Company and Valhalla Social gaming venue will open in 2024 and 2025 in the historic 200 Peachtree building.

Xi Hotpot, a Sichuan hot pot restaurant, will open at 2645 North Berkley Lake Rd NW, on Saturday, February 24.

Dunwoody-Perimeter

Cuddlefish and South Florida Mexican restaurant Agave Bandido open in 2024 at the High Street development near Perimeter Center.

Jaguar Bolera, an “eatertainment” venue featuring “food hall-style counters” serving Southern and Mexican dishes and offering games like duckpin bowling, foosball, and darts and crafts like needleworks, is opening at High Street.

NFA Burger opens in a new space beside its current location at the Chevron market on Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Okay Anny’s, a cocktail bar and lounge hidden within the forthcoming Dunwoody food hall Politan Row at Ashford Lane, is now open.

Politan Row has taken over the infamous food hall space recently vacated by the Hall at Ashford Lane, which closed in July 2023 under somewhat dubious circumstances just two months after opening at the complex. Delilah’s Everyday Soul, Chef Viet, Pretty Little Tacos, and Smokehouse Q are among the stalls opening at the food hall.

Puttshack is opening its second Atlanta-area location, this time at the forthcoming High Street development.

The Hampton Social, a sprawling two-story restaurant dedicated to rose, opens at the emerging High Street development in 2024.

Culinary Dropout’s second Atlanta location at Ashford Lane is now open.

East Atlanta

Urban Wings is now open in the former Delia’s Chicken Sausage space on Moreland Avenue, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

East Lake

Gene’s, a barbecue and comfort food pop-up from Avery Cottrell, is opening in the former Salaryman space at Hosea and 2nd next door to Poor Hendrix.

Edgewood

Miss Conduck, a Caribbean-fusion spot, will take over the former Noni’s space this spring.

Pure Quill Superette will take over the Chop Shop space in March, as first reported by Rough Draft ATL.

English Avenue

El Gordo Taqueria, Fresh Squeezed Mini Bar, and French dessert shop Le Macaron are all expected to open next spring at Echo Street West.

Grant Park

Birdcage, a Latin food restaurant from the owner of Firepit Pizza Tavern, is now open at the Larkin on Memorial complex.

Supremo Taco relocates to a building behind its current restaurant on Memorial Drive and will offer indoor dining, a full bar, and serve new dishes.

Grove Park

Bankhead Seafood, backed by Atlanta rappers Killer Mike and T.I., is still slated to open as a 130-seat, two-story restaurant on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.

Hapeville

Moonlight Pizza is now open on South Central Avenue.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Citizens Go, a pared-down version of Citizens Market at Phipps Plaza, is opening at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Concourse F (international terminal) between terminals F10 and F12, by early 2025.

Inman Park

Donnie’s Donuts is now open at the Highland Walk complex in a space formerly home to a number of restaurants, including P’Cheen, Last Word, Cast Iron, and Highland Bistro, Atlanta magazine reports.

Harbor Coffee is now open on Elizabeth Street in the Ballard Obelisk flour building.

Painted Park is taking over the Brasserie and Neighborhood Cafe at Parish space on North Highland Avenue and will serve food and drinks with expanded outdoor seating and lawn games along the Beltline. Look for it to open in winter 2024.

Johns Creek

The Medley complex will eventually include locations of Little Rey, Cru Wine Bar, Lily Sushi Bar, Fado Irish Pub, Knuckies Hoagies, Cookie Fix, Lucciano’s Gelato, and Summit Coffee when it opens in 2024.

Lindbergh

El Gordo, from the owners behind Birria El Gordo, is opening at Uptown Atlanta across the street from 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar and the Lindbergh MARTA station.

Bene Korean Steakhouse from chef Vincent Jung and the owners of Korean barbecue restaurant Miss Gogi is opening at Uptown Atlanta.

Madre Selva Latin restaurant and ceviche bar is opening spring 2024 on Main Street at Uptown Atlanta, a 47-acre development anchored by the Lindbergh MARTA Station.

White Windmill Bakery and Cafe and J’ouvert Caribbean Kitchen is opening at Uptown Atlanta, a 47-acre development anchored by the Lindbergh MARTA Station

J’ouvert Caribbean Kitchen & Bar, from the team behind Belle & Lily’s Caribbean Brunch House, opens March 17 at Uptown Atlanta.

Little Five Points

Pizza Verdura Sincera, a vegan pizzeria, is taking over the Little Five Points location of Zesto.

Marietta

Bōm, a Korean restaurant from Spring chef Brian So, opens on Church Street in downtown Marietta this summer.

Peach State Pizza and Press Waffle Co. are now open at Avenue East Cobb soon.

Round Trip Brewing, known for its German-style beers, is opening at Avenue East Cobb next spring. And this location will also serve food.

The Peach Cobbler Factory opens at Avenue East Cobb in early 2024 for cobblers with ice cream, banana puddings, cinnamon rolls, and milkshakes.

Tin Pin Game Bar arcade and pinball venue is now open next door to Tin Lizzy’s Cantina at Avenue East Cobb.

Marietta Street Artery

The Morning After, a restaurant from Slutty Vegan owner Pinky Cole, is opening in the former Deliah’s Chicken Sausage space along the Marietta Street Artery on Atlanta’s westside, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Metro Atlanta

Portillo’s, a popular Chicago-based hot dog and Italian beef chain, is eyeing the Atlanta area and state of Georgia for expansion in the Southeast, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Midtown

26 Thai will open its seventh Atlanta location in Politan Row at Colony Square this April.

Boqueria Tapas Bar and Restaurant opens in 2024 in building 500 at Colony Square.

Don Fausto’s has opened a stall in Politan Row at Colony Square.

Lazy Betty opens in the former Empire State South space Saturday, March 16. Expect the same curated, multi-course tasting menus from owners and chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, along with a new bar menu offering a la carte dishes and drinks.

PMA Coffee opens on Piedmont Avenue as part of a collaborative space called 12th and Everything.

Miami-based doughnut chain The Salty opened its third location in West Midtown.

It appears that Spiller Park Coffee will open a Midtown location sometime in 2024.

Sozou Japanese restaurant and private omakase bar Omakase by Ito are both expected to open at Spring Quarter on Spring Street by the end of 2024.

Norcross

South End Norcross on South Peachtree Street will include a mini food hall and barbecue restaurant serving smoked brisket by 2024.

Old Fourth Ward

Boon Development opens a restaurant and market on Decatur Street near Fetch dog park and bar.

Brash Coffee Roasters will open a location at the Junction Krog District complex in May, according to Atlanta Magazine.

Emerald City Bagels opens soon as part of a new phase of development at the Studioplex complex currently under construction along Edgewood Avenue.

Overline Hotel at the New City development along the Eastside Trail is slated to include two restaurants on the ground floor on near the pool on the fourth floor, as well as a rooftop bar, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Seabird Oyster Bar opens along the Eastside Beltline trail with a menu centered around raw bar selections and other seafood dishes paired with cocktails and sparkling wine.

Yeppa and Co., the Italian restaurant from Storico Fresco owners Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson, is opening on the ground floor of the new Junction at Krog District building along the Eastside trail.

Yuji Japanese restaurant and sake bar from Alex Kinjo will open at the new Junction Krog District complex along the Eastside Beltline trail in 2024.

Ormewood Park

4West, an LGBTQ cocktail lounge and club based in NYC, is opening on Moreland Avenue, What Now Atlanta reports.

Peachtree City

Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern is opening at the Avenue Peachtree City development.

Peachtree Corners

Capitol Tacos, a Tex-Mex chain, is opening this spring on Peachtree Parkway.

Giulia, a pasticceria and Italian bakery-cafe, is opening at the Forum on Forum Drive, according to a press release. It will sell and serve pastries, cakes, croissants, and sandwiches.

Politan Row at the Forum opens at the Forum complex in 2024 bringing a food hall with seven restaurant stalls to the Gwinnett County city.

Peoplestown

Pur Zen Mimosa Wine Bar is opening at the emerging Terminal South development in the Peoplestown neighborhood, along with Switchman Hall food hall.

Switchman Hall food hall takes over one of two former warehouse spaces on Ridge Avenue at Terminal South and will feature 18 restaurant stalls with a terrace for outdoor seating on what was a loading dock. Vegan restaurant Life Bistro is just one of the stalls opening at the food hall.

Piedmont Heights

Toranj Middle Eastern Kitchen is now open in the former Atmosphere French Bistro space on Piedmont Avenue.

Ponce City Market

La Metro, a Madrid-influenced tapas and pintxos restaurant owned by El Super Pan chef Hector Santiago, is replacing Biltong Bar at the food hall in 2024.

Poncey-Highland

Illy Caffe is slated to open at the Ford Factory Lofts on Ponce.

Sea Legs, a wine bar serving a cafe menu in the evenings, opens at some point alongside East Pole Coffee at the Plaza on Ponce complex.

Sip, a cocktail bar and restaurant from the one of the owners of Johnny’s Chicken and Waffles, is opening in the former Babette’s Cafe space.

Yet-named restaurant from chef Shaun Doty is replacing the Wurst Beer Hall on Ponce in spring 2024. The Wurst Beer Hall closed in December 2023, nine months after opening beside Doty’s Best Sandwich Shop.

Reynoldstown

Floridaman will open above Breaker Breaker along the Eastside Beltline in March.

Pretty Little Tacos opens soon at 45 Moreland, home to Neighborhood Wraps and Smoothies and forthcoming Caribbean restaurant and rum bar Wylie and Rum.

Spina Pizza, from Anthony Spina Jr., and Small Fry, from 8ARM and Fishmonger owners Skip Engelbrecht and chef Nhan Le, are opening at Atlanta Dairies on Memorial.

Riverside

Bryan Furman BBQ, a new restaurant owned by pitmaster Bryan Furman opening in the next year, will be a celebration of Black barbecue traditions. The existing house on the Bolton Road property will be torn down to make way for a new building and smokehouse. Read the full story here.

Coastal Bar Grill and Chill is open in the former Houck Grill space, according to a press release.

Grana, known for its Neopolitan pizzas and classic Italian dishes from Chef Pasquale “Pat” Pascarella, is opening at the Southern Post mixed-use development.

Fresh One Kitchen has opened a second location in the Parkside Shops on Roswell Road.

Yet-named Italian restaurant from former Superica chef Kevin Maxey is opening at the Chastain Market complex (formerly Sandy Springs Gateway), taking over the Santorini Taverna space, according to the AJC.

South Downtown

Common Grounds Coffee Collective, from the owner of Black Coffee ATL, is open on Upper Alabama at Underground Atlanta.

Cubanos ATL is opening on Mitchell Street, part of the South Downtown renovation project. Like the new Roswell location, expect breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a full bar.

Spiller Park is opening a location in Historic Hotel Row.

Stonecrest

Yet-named food hall with 13 stalls from Atlanta Breakfast Club, the Original Hot Dog Factory, and Dope Coffee is opening in the former Sears building at Mall at Stonecrest in 2024, according to the AJC.

Stone Mountain

Hot Betty’s, a breakfast and brunch spot formerly open on Main Street in Tucker, is reopening on Stone Mountain Freeway next spring, Tomorrow’s News Today reports.

Summerhill

Grits and Eggs Breakfast Kitchen is opening at the 565 Hank apartment building on Hank Aaron Drive, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Redacted Basement Drink Parlor, the Summerhill conspiracy theory-themed bar, finally plans to open along Georgia Avenue after multiple delays.

Sweet Auburn

Langston’s Cafe, a coffee shop, cafe, and late-night spot from the owners of Black Coffee ATL, is opening on Edgewood Avenue, What Now Atlanta reports.

Toco Hills

Wild Heaven Beer and Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q are teaming up at the Toco Hill shopping center and bringing the neighborhood a brewery and smokehouse rolled into one in 2024.

Underwood Hills

Waffle Experience, a California-based breakfast and brunch restaurant, is still planning to open at the Works development along Chattahoochee Avenue in northwest Atlanta.

Damsel, a cabaret-style tapas restaurant backed by the Select co-owner Dave Green, is opening at the Works in winter 2024.

Virginia-Highland

Soft serve shop Big Softie will open a second location on North Highland Avenue this summer.

Ela, a Mediterranean restaurant from Fifth Group Restaurants, is now open at the former The Original El Taco space on North Highland.

Motorboat, from the owners of Bantam Pub, will apparently take over the former 8ARM space on Ponce until the property is redeveloped, What Now Atlanta reports.

West End

Hell Yeah Gluten Free bakery is opening just down the street from the Window and La Bodega at the Met on Murphy Avenue.

Lake and Oak Neighborhood Barbecue is opening at the Lee and White complex.

Westside-Howell Mill Road/Brady Avenue

Delbar Middle Eastern restaurant is apparently opening at the Star Metals complex in 2024, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, along Five Guys burgers and Starbucks, opens in 2024 as part of phase two of the Interlock on Howell Mill.

Lucky Star, from the team behind Brush Sushi, opens at Star Metals this winter with a casual cafe and bar serving cocktails on tap in front, with an intimate bar pouring drinks all evening in back.

Pinky Promise champagne bar is opening in 2024 as part of phase two of the Interlock on Howell Mill offering live entertainment and a menu of dishes like smoked salmon tarts, avocado BLT croissants, and caviar.

Wagyu House barbecue and hot pot restaurant opens in 2024 as part of phase two of the Interlock on Howell Mill. The 16,000-square-foot restaurant anchors the rooftop space at the new phase and should open summer 2024.

Knuckies Hoagies is opening at the Interlock.

Patina, a rooftop bar and lounge from the team behind the Painted Duck, opens atop Star Metals.

SMR Tap bar is opening at Star Metals complex on Howell Mill Road.

Northern China Eatery is opening a sister restaurant, The Dumpling Factory, at the former Boxcar Betty space in Westside Paper in June.

Woodland Hills

Halidom Eatery, an 11-stall food hall with a bar, opens spring 2024 at IST Management Services on Moreland Avenue. Halidom Eatery will join over 15 food halls now open or opening in the coming year around Atlanta.

Nàdair (nuh-DARE from the Scots Gaelic phrase “dòigh nàdair” or “the way of nature”), from chef Kevin Gillespie, is opening in the former Floataway Cafe space in 2024 — a restaurant he considers “the next chapter” of Woodfire Grill and its cooking.

Woodstock

Cultivate Food and Coffee is opening in 2024 on Main Street downtown.

Jekyll Brewing has opened a second location on Main Street in downtown Woodstock.

Atlanta Location TBD

Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, a 24-hour automat, will open five Atlanta-area locations. Brooklyn Dumpling has yet to return requests for comment as to whether the company plans to move forward in Atlanta.

Dave’s Hot Chicken, the LA-based Nashville-style hot chicken chain with celebrity investors like rapper Drake and actor Samuel L. Jackson, is headed to Atlanta, possibly opening locations east of Atlanta.

Long Snake, a wine bar owned by former 8ARM bartender Joshua Fryer, is expected to open in city of Atlanta in the coming months.

Zilch Market, a non-alcoholic bottle shop and cocktail bar, is opening in city of Atlanta.
